Cape Town-born Keagan, 22, is the first South African to win the competition and competed against housemates Kyle, Lady May, Prezzo, Talia and Wati in the final week.
Keagan walked away the winner after 91 days in the house with a grand prize of $300 000.
The announcement was made in the tension soaked grand finale after musicians D’banj, Naeto C, Sarkodi, Navio and MC Khuli Chana treated the audience to exciting performances.
It didn’t stop fans of all the various contestants from holding their breathes, then the winner was announced and everyone at the grand finale screamed.
Kevin Chuwang Pam, Uti Nwachukwu and Karen Igho are Nigerians who have won the show in the past.
According to TVSA, Keagan plans to invest his prize money, help his family and give some to charity.
Big Brother StarGame was a hit on TV screens generating over 2 million messages to TV and over 250 000 Twitter followers.
