6 JTF Soldiers Killed As Boko Haram Bomb Patrol Van In Maiduguri

At least 6 men of the Joint Task Force working to keep the peace and suppress the scourge of terrorism in Maiduguri, Borno State were on Tuesday killed.
Suspected members of the Boko Haram sect hurled explosives at a JTF van near the First Bank branch at the roundabout on Post Office Road in the Borno State capital.
A yet to be ascertained number of others were injured in the incident.
The JTF Hilux van in which the soldiers were being conveyed was torn apart by the explosive device.
Eye witnesses said 6 of the eight soldiers in the van died immediately.
The attack came barely 24 hours after a suicide bomber rammed a bomb-laden car into a fully loaded luxury bus in Kano State, killing more then 25 people.
