Twenty years ago today, the greatest invention of modern man went live, as the World Wide Web publicly launched on April 30th, 1993.
CERN made the World Wide Web publicly available without royalties.

This was the very stepping stone that made things such as Google, YouTube, and Africa Eagle possible, spawning a new age in technology, information, and communication.
It’s incredible to reflect on how much the world has changed in the last 20 years thanks to the World Wide Web.
We commend Sir Tim Berners-Lee in his efforts to push forth for the Internet to be accessed by the masses, as it has enabled many people to do things they previously never imagined possible.
