The Burj Al Arab Hotel In Dubai Now Provides Guests With Gold iPads

Dubai is known for offering some of the most luxurious features and amenities at their resorts and hotels, but we’re pretty sure the Burj Al Arab hotel, Dubai’s crown jewel, is taking the cake with their latest provision: gold-plated iPads.
The Burj Al Arab will now accommodate each of its guests with 24 carat gold-plated iPads… just because they want to.

That’s living large if you ask us! There’s no other resort or hotel in the world that’s providing guests with such expensive devices such as this.

The Burj Al Arab is the first hotel to offer the Interactive Customer Experience (ICE) software on an iPad – meaning guests can use the iPad as a concierge.

The guests are obviously not allowed to keep the iPads, but that’s common sense. The iPads can be used to browse hotel services, restaurant/dining menus, along with other guest information.

They can also sign into their iTunes account and download apps, games and music. As expected, there is a resort-wide wireless network available for all users.

The iPads were designed exclusively for the Burj Al Arab by bespoke luxury brand Gold & Co. London, infamous for their gold-plated technology products, who engraved the iPads with the hotel’s logo.
