BBA CHASE Finale - Negative Reactions From Nigeria As Namibia's Dillish Wins $ 300,000 Grand Prize

Namibia’s belle came from out of nowhere to snatch the cash right from under the noses of the supposedly strong contenders that avid viewers had clearly decided were poised to take the $300 000 prize home.
What happened to Melvin and Beverly from Nigeria, and Elikem, Ghana's first finalist.

The feeling was that one of these three would be favoured with votes from across Africa.

Nowhere in all the permutations and analysis of the game, did Dillish feature. It was a huge surprise to many that she lasted as long as she did.

The tension was palpable in the house and across the continent when IK, the Live Show host started the eviction process with all five finalists holding hands to pray.

Immediately afterwards, Beverly was called out. She had received the lowest number of country votes. But, she still made history for never been nominated  during her entire 91-day stay in the Big Brother House.
It was difficult to swallow as IK quickly followed Beverly's on-stage interview with the announcement that Melvin was next. Beverly's countrymate and the gentleman whom many fans have described as being a model of humility.

Melvin became the first and only Housemate throughout The Chase to sacrifice himself during a particularly difficult nominations week. He was Head of House at the time and decided not to save himself from the eviction gallows. His fans came to his rescue instead.

Season 8 winner, Dillish, initially described herself as "caring, fun, troublesome, loving and adventurous", but we think she showed little of these character traits in the house.

At first glance, she was more or less unengaging, but then when you think about it you realise that there was really nothing to dislike about this beautiful Namibian Queen.

She wasn’t one of the "bad" or "crazy" ones and save for her uncanny ability to introduce a strange accent into her speech once in a while, the voice of Princess Dillish, she basically flew under the radar.

Was that a strategy in itself? The lack-lustre approach that saw her waltz through a 91-day game without butting heads or jabbing elbows?

Hardly, because other lack-lustre housemates were booted out by Africa a long time ago and those who kept viewers mad and yet fascinated, like Beverly, well they didn’t even come close.

My conclusion is that Dillish played the game, she stayed out of trouble, we didn't see any act that wouldn’t make her mama proud and she stayed true to her love interest outside of the house. It was a thing of joy to see her Prince Charming welcome her on stage with a crown, one fit only for Queen Dillish, perhaps a deserving winner after all.
