African champions Zambia are in the running to win the Confederation of African Football's national team of the year award.
Chipolopolo face competition from Ivory Coast, who they beat on penalties in the final of the Nations Cup in February, as well as Cape Verde and Central African Republic.
The other award categories are coach of the year, club of the year, women's national team of the year and most promising talent.
Zambia coach Herve Renard and Hossam El Badry, who led Egyptian side and club of the year contenders Al Ahly to their seventh Champions League trophy in November, are two of the four nominees for coach of the year.

Equatorial Guinea, Ghana Under-17, Nigeria Under-20
Club of the year nominees:
Al Ahly (Egypt), Esperance (Tunisia), AC Leopards ( Congo), Djoliba (Mali)

Herve Renard (Zambia), Hosam El Badry (Al Ahly), NAbil Maaloul (Esperance), Nasreddine Nabi (AC Leopards),
Most promising talent:
Mohamed Salah (Egpyt and Basel), Moussa Konate (Senegal and FC Krasnodar), Victor Wanyama (Kenya and Celtic)
Women's footballer of the year:
Chinwendu Ihezuo (Nigeria), Genoveva Anoman (Equatorial Guinea and Turbine Potsdam), Portia Modise (South Africa)
