A Syrian Rebel Rips Out And Eats The Heart Of A Government Soldier In Extremely Graphic Video

A gruesome propaganda video has been released, showing a Syrian rebel cutting out and eating the heart of a man who is presumed to be a dead government soldier.
The man is seen carving away at the chest cavity of the dead soldier, and then pulling out the vital organ before taking a big bite in a scene that issure to make even the boldest squeamish.

The clip, while unverified, shows a man who is believed to be Abu Sakkar, the founder of Homs’ Farouq Brigade, standing over a dead uniformed officer.

The man in the video is heard ranting against President Bashar al Assad.

“I swear to God we will eat your hearts and your livers, you soldiers of Bashar the dog,” the man says before biting into the heart.

The situation in Syria is as vulnerable now as it has been in recent memory, as the war-torn nation’s conflict is reaching barbaric standards.

What once was regarded as a civil war that featured a necessary rebellion has become instead a matter of revenge killings and hatred based on political association, fueling all-out chaos.

“The mutilation of the bodies of enemies is a war crime. But the even more serious issue is the very rapid descent into sectarian rhetoric and violence,” said Peter Bouckaert of Human Rights Watch.

Bouckaert has alleged that rebels have confirmed Abu Sakkar’s identity in the video.

With the situation getting worse and worse, the U.S. and U.K. may intervene.

“Certainly we haven’t ruled out stepping up action in response to what seems to be happening on the ground,” British Prime Minister David Cameron told NPR radio. “The evidence is growing; the lack of room for doubt is shrinking, and I think this is extremely serious.”

Cameron said he will raise the issue with President Obama.
